The three-day Global Travel and Tourism Fair opened on a grand scale today at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar. Representatives from more than 35 countries and over 400 exhibitors are participating in the fair.

Special pavilions have been set up at the fair for Gujarat’s tourist attractions, including the Statue of Unity, Gir, Rann Utsav and Dwarka.

According to state government estimates, the fair is expected to attract investment worth ₹2,000 crore in the tourism sector over the next year.
